On select nights from November 14, 2025, through February 28, 2026, Fernbank opens its doors for extended museum hours indoors and a radiant outdoor adventure through WildWoods, inviting guests to explore the forest like never before.

A Nighttime Adventure for All Ages

WildWoods: AGLOW is a multi-sensory, after-hours journey that celebrates the beauty of Georgia’s native landscapes. Guests of all ages can wander through illuminated trails surrounded by glowing flora, dynamic light installations, and imaginative artistry that turns nature into a living, breathing canvas.

Highlights of this year’s experience include:

An interactive tulip poplar pod that glows with life.

Projections of nocturnal wildlife that move through the forest canopy.

Larger-than-life incandescent mushrooms that light the way.

Luminous dandelions and glowing garden towers that captivate at every turn.

Fluttering dragonflies and swarming bats, bringing movement and magic to the night.

Each installation is paired with original music compositions, enhancing the immersive ambiance and drawing guests deeper into the enchanting story of WildWoods after dark.
