Sycamore Park is a quiet greenspace tucked just west of the Avondale MARTA station in one of Decatur’s most storied neighborhoods. Once the site of the historic Death House — moved during MARTA construction — the park still features its original front steps as a unique entry point. Shaded sitting areas, a dog-friendly station, and access to the PATH to Stone Mountain make it an ideal rest stop for walkers, cyclists, and local explorers alike.
