What Is ARTucker?
More than just an art market, ARTucker is a celebration of Georgia-grown talent, created with heart and hometown pride. Founded in 2015 by Patricia "Patty" Kurtz Young, the event has grown into a cornerstone of Tucker’s arts and culture scene. Its mission? To showcase local artists and makers, and to cultivate a strong, supportive arts community right here in DeKalb County.
Originally held at the Tucker Recreation Center, ARTucker has long prioritized accessibility—offering both artists and attendees an affordable, welcoming space to connect. Over the years, it’s also given back, supporting local institutions like the Tucker Recreation Center, the Tucker Art Guild, and Tucker High School’s Art Program through its net profits.
What to Expect
Expect a relaxed, professional atmosphere filled with creativity and community. With more than 1,000 attendeesexpected, this year's event brings together an impressive lineup of Georgia-based artists and makers—offering everything from original paintings and pottery to handmade jewelry, textiles, woodwork, and more. Whether you're shopping for a special piece or just browsing, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
And yes, your favorite ARTucker vibes are back:

Why It Matters
Events like ARTucker remind us that art isn’t just for galleries—it’s for everyone. This show not only gives artists the opportunity to pursue their passions, but it also invites the community to experience, support, and celebrate their work in a meaningful way.
It’s also a chance to meet the creative minds behind the art, learn about their processes, and find pieces that speak to you. And when you shop local, you're not just buying a product—you’re investing in a story, a person, and a community.
