DeKalb’s Wildest New Attraction? You’ll Have to Dive In to Believe It!

Here in DeKalb, we have something for everyone—outdoor adventures, incredible food, live entertainment, and now… Georgia’s First Underwater Theme Park! That’s right, Stone Mountain is going underwater with the brand-new Stone Mountain Subaquatic Adventure!
This one-of-a-kind attraction will take thrill-seekers on a journey below the mountain, featuring:
The Mermaid Coaster – A water ride that plunges you into an underground lake filled with real mermaids (or are they just really good actors?)
Scuba with Sasquatch – Because if Bigfoot exists, wouldn’t he vacation in DeKalb’s hidden underwater caves?
The Lazy Lava River – A relaxing float through supposedly extinct lava tunnels. We promise they’re cool. Probably.
The Atlantis Amphitheater – A concert venue submerged just enough to keep your toes wet while jamming to live music.
Excited? You should be! Tickets go on sale today only… but before you grab your snorkel and flippers—April Fools!
While we might not have an underwater theme park (yet), DeKalb does have some of the best real-life attractions you won’t want to miss this spring. Whether you’re hiking Stone Mountain, catching a show at Art Station, or discovering hidden foodie gems in Chamblee, there’s plenty to explore—no scuba gear required.
