Experience the 2024 Haunted Trail Hike at Henderson Park!

Get ready for a spine-tingling adventure at the 2024 Haunted Trail Hike, taking place at Henderson Park on Friday, October 25th! This year’s family-friendly event invites you to explore the eerie and enchanting White Trail between 4 and 7 p.m. — but beware, the gates close at 6:30 p.m. to ensure everyone can safely complete their hike before nightfall.
Best of all? It’s FREE to attend, and no ticket is required!
What to Expect on the Haunted Trail
This year’s trail theme is inspired by the high seas, featuring pirates, sea monsters, mermaids, and more lurking in the woods! Whether you’re a brave adventurer or a cautious explorer, this 3/4-mile hike offers just the right mix of thrills and chills. Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of spooky surprises — but don’t worry! If you’re hiking with little ones and want to dial down the fright, simply shine your flashlight at any creepy character you meet. The ghostly figures will freeze and retreat, giving you a chance to pass by safely.
Things to Know:
Trail Conditions: The White Trail is rugged in places, with exposed roots and rocks that require your attention. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight to guide your way.
Event Details: The hike is self-guided, so you can explore the trail at your own pace. Plan to arrive early, as the last hikers will be allowed in at 6:30 p.m.
Flashlight Fun: Bring a flashlight to help manage the scare level for younger hikers, and to safely navigate the darker areas of the trail.
Location: Henderson Park, 4000 Henderson Park Rd, Tucker, GA.
Candy & Photo Ops!
Just like last year, hikers who complete the trail will be rewarded with a bag of candy — perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth after an afternoon of adventure! Plus, don’t miss the photo opportunity at the end of the trail, where you can capture the memories with your crew of fellow adventurers.
Whether you’re there for the sea monsters or the candy, the 2024 Haunted Trail Hike promises an unforgettable Halloween experience for all ages. Gather your friends, bring your flashlight, and join us for a spooky afternoon in the woods!
See you on the trail, if you dare!
