Stonecrest PROUD!: Turning Local Pride into a Citywide Movement
Big energy is building in South DeKalb—and it’s all about pride, people, and progress.
The City of Stonecrest is turning up the volume with its “Stonecrest PROUD!” campaign, a four-month celebration highlighting the stories, voices, and spirit that make DeKalb County’s largest city so dynamic. From local leaders to hometown businesses, this campaign shines a spotlight on the heartbeat of Stonecrest through a series of engaging social videos, community activations, and even a brand-new anthem you’ll want on repeat.
You’ll see familiar faces like DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson and Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant, alongside local staples like Buttermilk Biscuit—each sharing what makes Stonecrest worth celebrating.
And it all kicks off in a big way.
Join the community on Saturday, April 18 from 11 AM – 3 PM at Stonecrest City Hall for a free Pep Rally & Resource Fair packed with live music, food, games, giveaways, and family-friendly fun. From bounce houses to bingo, plus a special appearance by Freddie Falcon, there’s something for everyone. You’ll also have the chance to connect with city leaders, explore local resources, and even take steps toward your next career move.
This isn’t just a campaign—it’s a movement rooted in connection, pride, and possibility.
Follow along, feel the energy, and see why Stonecrest is PROUD.
