The Exhibit They'll Be Roaring About All Summer
Summer memories are made from the moments that leave kids wide-eyed, excited, and eager to tell everyone about what they just experienced. This year, one of those unforgettable adventures is roaring into DeKalb County.
From June 13 through September 7, Fernbank Museum invites families to come face-to-jaws with one of the most fascinating creatures to ever walk the Earth in T. rex: The Ultimate Predator.
This larger-than-life exhibit takes visitors on an incredible journey through the life of Tyrannosaurus rex, from a fluffy, turkey-sized hatchling to the towering apex predator that ruled the prehistoric world. Through life-sized models, fossil casts, interactive experiences, and immersive displays, families can discover the surprising science behind the world's most iconic dinosaur.
Kids can mix their own dinosaur roars, watch a full-scale skeleton come to life in an interactive shadow theater, and even interact with a life-sized animated T. rex that responds to their movements. Along the way, they'll uncover fascinating facts about how tyrannosaurs lived, evolved, hunted, and survived millions of years ago.
Whether your child is a lifelong dinosaur enthusiast or simply loves hands-on adventures, T. rex: The Ultimate Predator delivers the kind of experience they'll be talking about all summer long.
Looking for a family outing that's educational, interactive, and unforgettable? Add Fernbank Museum to your summer bucket list and discover why DeKalb County is where curiosity comes to life.
