In June of 2019,
Terry Koval and his wife, Jenn, opened their dream restaurant in Decatur, GA, the town they’ve called home since 2006. The new venture signified an opportunity to focus on farmer relationships and local sourcing to support Chef Terry’s vision of a scratch kitchen built on slow food.
Now more than four years later, The Deer and The Dove continues to evolve — representing not only a dream, but the home to a growing family and community. We take immense pride in all the friendships and connections we’ve made, and the continued opportunity to share our passion and dedication to curating a menu and dining experience that reminds us how our food comes to be.
