Decatur WatchFest 26509 N McDonough St
Decatur, GA 30030
When the world's greatest soccer tournament kicks off in 2026, the City of Decatur, Georgia will be watching in style. Decatur WatchFest '26 is a free, 34-day soccer festival transforming the heart of downtown Decatur into one of the most electric viewing destinations in the Southeast. From the tournament's opening kick to the championship final, fans of all ages and backgrounds are invited to gather, cheer, and celebrate the beautiful game together — no ticket required.
At the center of the action sits the newly renovated Decatur Square, where a massive 40' x 21' outdoor screen anchors Decatur's brand-new performance stage, flanked by additional screens to ensure every angle of every match is front and center. Whether visitors are die-hard football supporters or first-time fans, WatchFest '26 delivers a full-spectrum festival experience complete with live music, food trucks, giveaways, a kids' play area, a skills zone, and a mini pitch.
Live Music Headliners make this more than just a viewing party — it's a full-blown cultural celebration:
Big Boi headlines the Kickoff Celebration on June 11
The War and Treaty performs on June 25
Indigo Girls close out the Championship Final on July 19
All musical acts are produced in partnership with Amplify My Community, creators of the beloved annual Amplify Decatur Music Festival.
For those who prefer to catch matches indoors, 21 WatchSpots at local Decatur restaurants, breweries, and pubs will be airing games throughout the tournament — perfect for beating the summer heat without missing a moment of the action. Decatur's dining scene, which boasts four Michelin-recommended restaurants, James Beard-recognized chefs, and Brick Store Pub — named one of America's Best Bars — turns every match into a world-class experience.
Family-friendly activations round out the festival, including the YMCA + Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Mini Pitch, the Atlanta United Skill Zone open daily, and a Decatur Soccer 3v3 Youth Tournament on June 20.
With walkable access to dining, drinks-to-go within the entertainment zones, and the Decatur MARTA Station just steps away, WatchFest '26 is as accessible as it is unforgettable. Hotels are bookable within easy walking distance for visitors looking to make a full weekend of the experience.
