A Pilgrimage of Compassion
• Walk for Compassion is a peaceful community pilgrimage along Buford Highway, connecting the cities of Doraville and Chamblee at culturally significant plazas and small businesses.
• Led by Venerable Phra Ajarn Maha Dam Phommasan, joined by local monastics and interfaith leaders from multiple traditions, the walk offers blessings, encouragement, and hope to immigrant families, workers, and neighbors.
• This is not a protest or demonstration — it is a family-friendly gathering centered entirely on compassion, dignity, and shared humanity.
• As Thanksgiving approaches, we invite the region to gather around gratitude and belonging rather than division.
